Designed for empty nesters with grandkids accumulating, the mission for this Houston house was comfort, privacy, space to entertain, and ample light. Pool party, lock-and-leave, OR stay home and read. What manifested were two more solid blocks at front and back of property, connected by a transparent spine at both levels. This spatial organization maintains an inward visual connection between the main interior spaces, and multiple outdoor rooms. Depending on the day, the occupants can live privately, or open everything up and party!
